The controller support of System Shock 2023 is not only a lackluster less-than-bare-minimum implementation, it's also buggy. There is no way to manage active cybernetics without opening the inventory, which does not pause the game. These include such things such as your flashlight (!) and high-cost energy shield (!!!).

In fact sometimes shadows cast by underpowered flashlights can add to the creep factor with the spooky shadows they cast. #6.

Nightdive Studios has released the first trailer for the remaster of System Shock 2. It's interesting because the footage from cutscenes is accompanied by a small window that shows what they looked like in the 1999 original. At the end of the trailer there are also some gameplay sequences.

Apparently, the Von Braun has been infested by an unknown alien race and has converted the crew into relatively intelligent zombies. You must gather bits of audio clips.
